NEW RELEASE!

I’m so excited to announce my new release, y’all!! It’s my first foray into New Adult territory (and NO, that doesn’t mean it’s..ahem…adult!!), and I’m thrilled that LEARNING TO LIVE has been so well received already! This book is most definitely the book of my heart, and I thought I’d post the Author Note for you guys, so you can know how this book came about…

LTLEver since I became a writer, this story has been knocking around in my head. Some of it is based on my own real-life experiences surrounding 9-11. I didn’t actually lose anyone that day, but I did watch the towers burn from my apartment for weeks on end, and I did suffer a great deal of post-traumatic depression several months after the attack. It was an incredibly dark time for me, as I’m sure it was for most, and I can’t even imagine what it would have been like to have had a loved one in those towers. But we’ve all lost someone at some point. We’ve all been victims to loss, depression, anxiety, guilt…all these things make us human, but they can also make us feel so incredibly alone. That’s why I finally put pen to paper, 13 years later, to share just a little bit of my story, and to hopefully help those who are feeling sad and alone right now to realize there is a light at the end of that dark tunnel.

In love and light,
Jerrica

LEARNING TO LIVE is still .99, but it’ll be regular price soon, so get it quick!! And many thanks to those who have already taken a chance on me in this new endeavor! ❤

Heat Ratings: Wetherby Brides vs. Daring Debutantes

In light of a recent unfavorable review, I’m adding Heat Ratings to my book descriptions, so you’ll know exactly what you’re getting. These ratings will be based on All About Romance‘s scale from Kisses to Burning. I’m also putting a number in there to give a little more preciseness, as my Wetherby Brides tend to fall somewhere between Warm and Hot, and my Daring Debutantes between Kisses and Subtle.

Needless to say, if you pick up a Wetherby Bride, you’re getting romantic love-making. If you pick up a Daring Debutante, you won’t get much more than kissing and maybe a glimpse of decolletage.

In that vein, while the Wetherby Brides novels are firmly planted in the adult category, the Daring Debutantes is a great series for younger readers! Low sensuality ratings paired with gutsy heroines will make a clean but enticing read for high schoolers, especially if you want to spark their interest in history while cultivating a love for reading.

I hope this new knowledge will help my fans/future fans navigate my novels a little easier 🙂

As always, Happy Reading!
